Bob LaMonte
Bob LaMonte is the President of PSR, having founded the company in 1979. Bob is one of the only sports representatives to have been a player, teacher, coach, agent, and author. Bob has mastered the art of negotiation, and is a true confidante. He has negotiated over $3 Billion in professional sports contracts during his career, and fully serves the needs of our clients.
Bob gained experience with athletic pressure as a football player at the University of Santa Clara, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. Upon graduation, he taught at San Jose State University and earned a Master’s Degree in United States Diplomatic History/Labor History. After earning his Master’s Degree, he taught U.S. History and coached varsity football at Oak Grove High School in San Jose, CA.
Bob’s foray into the business of football occurred when he represented Rich Campbell, a former student, as a first-round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft. Thereafter, Mike Holmgren sought Bob’s advice regarding career options. Bob went on to represent Coach Holmgren in the NFL as Head Coach Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks, and as President of the Cleveland Browns.
Bob chose to become involved in sports management when he witnessed athletes and coaches being inundated with dubious offers and empty promises, many of whom were overworked and underpaid. Bob realized he could make a difference for individuals who wanted results, thus PSR has delivered the desired outcomes to our clients for decades.
Lynn LaMonte
Lynn LaMonte is the Vice President of PSR. She co-founded PSR in 1979 with Bob LaMonte, while pursuing post-graduate work at San Jose State University and raising their four children. She possesses tremendous experience and versatility in assisting our clients and their families to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the sports world.
Lynn makes certain that the lifestyle desired by each of our client’s run smoothly and efficiently. She is extremely conscious of client relations, and constantly strives to make certain that all of our clients feel that they are a member of the PSR family!
Lynn administers the full management services provided by PSR, and works closely with our external team of attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, insurers, realtors, and lenders. A trademark of the PSR management services are the “Four Legs of the Investment Table,”® which is a prominent attribute of our Annual Management Report.
Lynn also oversees media, broadcasting, marketing, endorsement, licensing, and speaking opportunities for PSR’s clients.
Lisa VanDerlofske
Lisa VanDerlofske is the Director of Operations of PSR. She joined the team in 2024 and is responsible for managing all aspects of PSR business.
After receiving her Masters in Business Administration, Lisa joined Hewlett Packard gaining invaluable experience across a broad set of functions including Finance, Strategy, Program Management and Operations. She has led large programs such as launching HP’s eCommerce website, splitting HP’s America Sales Operations into two companies (HPE/HPI), and merging a storage company acquisition into Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Most recently Lisa has held leadership positions for both a Marketing Technology startup and a Networking and Security firm.
Holly Schelling
Holly Schelling is the Marketing / Administrative Director of PSR. She joined the PSR team in 2013 and is responsible for the organization and administration of the PSR office. Holly’s duties also include marketing and analyzing data, client endorsement requests, speaking engagements and handling an array of client relation matters. She serves a direct role in compilation of all phases of our client Annual Management Reports as well as organizing all managed client tax information on behalf of our outside accounting firm.
Holly has an extensive background in bookkeeping and clerical duties, having worked for several 501 (c) (3) organizations for more than 22 years. She has experience working with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, annual budgets and year-end donation statements. Holly has an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA.
